Casey's Law: If Something Can Go Right, It Should
Published in Hardcover by Arcade Publishing (April, 1997)
Authors: Albert V. Casey, Dick Seaver, Al Casey, and Jack Valenti
Average review score:

Entertaining, Yet Valuable Advice
I'm fortunate to have been a student in two of Al Casey's courses at Southern Methodist University, so remember-- I'm biased!

Al provides a refreshing view on business because of his diverse experience; within any single position someone could have built a career-- whether it's CEO of American, Times Mirror, Postmaster General, head of Resolution Trust, etc...

I'll warn you: don't buy this book if you are looking for tips on how to play dirty in business-- Casey believes that good principles mean good business. Few can say that and be credible. The collections of maxims and career advice, found at the end of the book, is itself reason enough to purchase this book. I've read the book twice. Here's a sampling:

*Never do or say anything that you wouldn't want to read in tomorrow's paper.

*Be confident, even when the odds seem stacked against you. Especially when the odds seem stacked against you.

*Hire talented people; hopefully, one of them will be your successor.

*Play fair. Too many people forget the first word, and often the second.

*Never slam a door so hard that you can't open it again.

*The harder you work, the luckier you get.

*Always question people, starting with yourself.

*Leadership lasts only as long as it's exercised.

*Meet weekly as a group with all who report to you; meet one-on-one each week as well.

*Balance out social situations; if you invite one key staff member to your home, invite them all.

*When all else fails, get down on your knees. Amen.

Casey's New Hat
Published in School & Library Binding by Houghton Mifflin Co (March, 1997)
Authors: Margot Apple and Tricia Gardella
Average review score:

A charming picture book with a universal theme!
What a problem! Casey has outgrown her hat and when you live on a ranch, you need a hat that fits! Casey spends a day searching for a new hat and discovers one in a most unlikely place. This is a book children will love because it echoes the dilemmas of every child, growing, changing, and trying to find "a good fit." Apple's illustrations perfectly complement Gardella's snappy prose.

Christmas Spirits

Authors: Lynn Kurland, Casey Claybourne, Elizabeth Bevarly, and Jenny Lykins
Average review score:

Wonderful stories
This book is very hard to find, but it is worth all the trouble to get hold of a copy. If you are a Lynn Kurland fan, which I am the first story in the book is about members of the De Piaget and Mc Cloud clan. She has writen several books on these families and she finally joins the two families together in the present day. The other 3 books are in the anthology are wonderful. Do read this book if you can get it. It is worth it.

An appealing journey into the cornea's health and disease
This book provides a qualified and appealing introduction to the macro- and microscopic appearance of the human cornea. Dark and Stormy Night (D20)
Published in Paperback by Guildhouse Games, LLC (01 August, 2002)
Author: Casey C. Clark
Average review score:

An awsome effort
I've only used one other module from Guildhouse games and, like that one, this module is excellent. Though pictures are far and few between, we get an amazing amount of detail for our money. They pack as much as they can into these 32 pages, and it shows. The characters end up on a wild goose chase that ends with them realizing that one villain isn't responsible for ALL of the problems that the village is going through. I cannot wait to run this module for my players.

Down on Casey's Farm
Published in Hardcover by Orchard Books (September, 1996)
Author: Sandra Jane Jordan
Average review score:

Beautiful Farm Book
This is a great book of tinted real photos of actual animals on the farm. It incorporates a frame story of Casey's imaginary farm and the sounds he hears, but then depicts real cows, sheep, goats, and more. My toddler loved anticipating which animal would be on the next page based on the sounds. And of course the story ends with everyone going to bed; the best ending for all toddler books.

Earthquake (Baywatch Junior Lifeguard Books , No 3)
Published in Paperback by Bullseye Books (April, 1996)
Authors: Casey Brady and L. Banim
Average review score:

Baywatch for pre-teens
I believe this book is based on an actual Baywatch episode (but not one I've seen so I can't say for sure.) It's a very easy read, and it's fun to find out what the characters are thinking, rather than just watching them save lives. If you haven't seen the original Baywatch in a while, this is a nice way to get reaquainted with the characters. The book includes several pages of color photos of the cast.
